Harrisville to host Summer Meal Program; families must sign up for meals weekly

The Harrisville Central School District is making sure children 18 and under in our region have access to free breakfast and lunch throughout the months of July and August. This summer, the district is offering 7-day breakfast and lunch pick-up options for families.

Meals will be available to pick up on the following Thursdays from 12-1 p.m.:

  • July 9, 16, 23, 30
  • August 6, 13, 20

Sign-up is required each week by using this form. The form is intended for families who would like to take advantage of the free meals during the dates of this program. To pick up meals on a Thursday, you must have completed the form by the prior Sunday before midnight. So, as an example, if you’d like to pick up meals on Thursday, July 9, you must complete the sign-up form by Sunday, July 5. All meals will be picked up at the front entrance of the Harrisville Central School within the bus circle.

The 2026 Summer Feeding Program is open to all children 18 and under across the region regardless of school district. However, please note that these meals are for children not already receiving free USDA meals from Harrisville Central School or any other school district/organization during the program dates.

We are committed to making sure every child has access to nutritious meals. If you are facing barriers that prevent you from reaching our pick-up site, or have any general questions about the program, please contact Food Service Manager Christine Bristol at (315) 543-2707 ext. 27917 so we can discuss alternative arrangements to support your family.
