Our Pirate Passion of the Month is our outstanding high school math teacher, Shelly Carr, whose dedication, energy, and deep commitment to student success make a tremendous impact every day. Known for turning even the most challenging concepts into clear, approachable lessons, Shelly creates a classroom environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and confident in their ability to grow. Her patience, creativity, and passion for mathematics inspire learners to push beyond their comfort zones and discover their own strengths. Whether offering extra help, celebrating student progress, or finding new ways to make math meaningful, Shelly consistently goes above and beyond for our school community.
