Harrisville junior Maia Bernhard received major kudos from the New York State FFA Association earlier this month.
After a lot of dedication and hard work, Bernhard was awarded first place in District Five of the New York FFA Animal Systems Agriscience Competition! Bernhard went up against FFA students in grades 11 and 12 from across the state.
During the New York State FFA Convention in Buffalo, Bernhard was recognized in front of her FFA peers and given a winner banner with a commemorative plaque.
