  • Highlights of our Universal Pre-K Program:

    The Harrisville Central School's Universal Pre-kindergarten program is a half-day program which addresses the instructional needs of our children as well as the physical, social and emotional development needed as a child enters kindergarten. Children must be four years old on or before December 1st and reside in the Harrisville Central School District to be eligible. 

     

    Enrollment:

    Universal Pre-kindergarten is open to all children residing in the school district who are four years old on or before December 1st of the current school year. Income eligibility is not a factor and all families are encouraged to apply.

     

    Staff:

    The staff at Harrisville Central School consists of a teacher and an aide in the pre-kindergarten classroom.

     

    Universal Pre-K Activities include:

    Reading Readiness, Math Readiness, Science lessons, Literature, Social Skills, Self-Help Skills, Large Motor Activities, Field Trips, Parent/Child Activities, etc. 

     

    Transportation:

    Transportation will be provided for children who are four years of age.
