students in the 
Upstate New York community of 
Harrisville. The kindergarten through 12th grade school has 420 students who live on the border of Lewis and St. Lawrence 
Counties.  The education staff of 41 
professionals, 7 para-professionals and 
2 full time administrators allows for small classes for all students.  The school 
graduates approximately 29 students, nearly 83% of whom go on to further education.

The physical plant is situated in a grove of pines just outside the Village of Harrisville.  The building has a large modern library-media center, up to date access to technology, and spacious renovated classrooms.  
A 2008-2009 renovation project will add 2 new classrooms, a Pre-K, upgrades in 
technology and security, and new Special Text Box: Education classrooms.
Harrisville Central School maintains two classrooms at each grade level in grades K-5.  A complete NYS curricular program is 
offered at all levels.

Middle School serves students in grades 6, 7 and 8.  At the senior high school level, Advanced Placement courses in U.S. History, English Literature and Calculus AB are 
regularly offered our students.

Harrisville Central School is part of the 
St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES and our student receive vocational-technical training at a nearby BOCES center.

Music and sports programs play an important role in any child’s education and Harrisville provides substantial support in those areas as well as the visual arts.

Harrisville Central School provides 12-1-1, 15-1-1 and Life Skills Special Education classes for our students.

Harrisville Central School.
