S.A.D.D. sponsors a "Be Smart" Week in
December. They hold a poster contest promoting "Be
Smart" topics like no smoking, no drinking, no illegal drugs.
They also give away prizes to students who remember the slogan of the
day - phrases promoting their mission of choosing to live a safe and
legal lifestyle and avoid destructive and illegal vices such as smoking,
alcohol, and drugs.
SA.D.D. holds a school dance to raise funds to sponsor
their programs. They also received assistance from Reality Check
at Lewis County Opportunities in the form of prizes and information.
