Homework Policy

All homework must be completed before class.  If you are working on homework for that day in class, it will be taken away and you will receive a zero.

If time is given for homework in class, you must do it.  This is not time for you to socialize with classmates.  Homework is assigned to help you understand the concepts taught and to reinforce skills.

If you are absent, work handed in late due to an absence will not be penalized until after an equal number of days have passed.  If you are absent on Monday, you will have until Wednesday before the late rule applies.

Homework is to be turned in on time.  Homework is to be placed on the corner of your desk at the beginning of class.  The teacher will come around and check homework assignments while students are working on the bell ringer.  If homework is not done, you will receive a zero for that assignment.
