Attendance -
- You are expected to
attend each class and remain in the class for the entire period.
- If you are late to
class, it is your responsibility to report to the teacher that
you are present.
- If you miss a class, it
is your responsibility to communicate with the teacher to
complete tasks being done in class that day.
- It is your
responsibility to make up any missed work by date given by teacher.
Assignments -
- Work is due at the
beginning of each class. If extra time is needed for a valid reason,
please see the teacher.
- Submitting work ahead
of due date for a pre-assessment is encouraged and will be returned the same
day.
- Late assignments will
lose 15 points per day after due date.
- Resubmissions of poor
grades may be done, please see teacher to complete a resubmission.

General Guidelines -
- cellular phones are not
allowed in school during class hours. Any phone being used in class
will be confiscated for the remainder of the period. If offense
happens more than once, phone will be given to the High School Principal and
a referral will be given.
- Language and actions in
class must be appropriate and follow HCS Student Handbook.
- Food and drink are NOT
allowed in the Technology Computer Lab (e105)
- Daily attendance and
class messages are given immediately at the start of class in the Technology
Classroom (e101A).
- Student must be
prepared each day with required materials.
- Absolutely no horseplay
- running, pushing, throwing, etc.
- Student handbook
discipline procedures will be enforced.
- Respect all people,
students and teacher alike, as well as school property and classroom
resources.

comments or concerns, see teacher.
Safety -
- Safety glasses
MUST be worn when any tool is being used by any student.
- footwear must be stable
and cover foot completely (No sandals, Heels, Etc.)
- No Baggy clothing,
dangling sleeves, etc. when using tools.
- Hair that is more than
shoulder length should be tied up when using tools.
- Long necklaces,
bracelets, neck ties, etc. should be removed when using tools
- Each tool should be
used properly to ensure safety. Each tool usage is instructed and
students quizzed before using. A grade of 100% is required on each
quiz before power tools are used by student.
- DO NOT use
any tool or machine you are uncomfortable with. PLEASE
ask for assistanc
Cheating -
- Each student should do
their own work. Students should not share their work with others
unless it is a group assignment / project. Cheating will result in a
zero ( 0 ) in the grade book with no chance to resubmit the work for a
better grade.
The
teacher can and will enforce / exempt any guideline in a given situation.
