Friendly Reminder from the Superintendent

 

 

          I noticed = that our forecast for next week is calling for below zero temperatures. I wanted= to let everyone know the criteria we use to decide if we should delay school. = At around 6:00 AM we will look at the temperature on the thermometer at the bus garage. If it shows a temperature of -25 we will delay. I know that there w= ill be varying temperatures throughout the district but that is the thermometer= we will use. It allows the district to be as consistent as possible in the decision. Additionally, I want you to know that we do take into account the wind chill factor in our decision.

 

As always please keep in mind that any parent or guardian has the right to keep their child at home if they feel it is necessary.
